Buying and converting

How to buy CNS

Where CNS trades, how to buy it on Raydium or Ourbit, and how to check you're getting the real token. CNR isn't sold on exchanges; you convert CNS to get it.

Centric Swap (CNS) trades on exchanges. Centric Rise (CNR) doesn't: you get CNR by converting CNS. This article covers buying CNS. For converting it, see How to convert CNS and CNR.

Where CNS trades

Centric currently lists two places to buy CNS:

  • Raydium, a decentralized exchange on Solana. You trade from your own wallet, CNS/SOL.
  • Ourbit, a centralized exchange. You trade from an Ourbit account, CNS/USDT.

The current list is always on the Guide page. New listings are announced on Centric's official channels.

Check you're buying the real CNS

Anyone can create a token called "CNS". The real one has this address:

2jUSPvEuxSxJ6nGpUHyXVAcNxyhugPC1iBeNjhTXzAUy

Before you swap, check that the token you've selected has this exact address. The Raydium link above already has it filled in.

Buy on Raydium

You need:

  • a Solana wallet such as Phantom, Solflare, Backpack or Trust Wallet (see Which wallet to use)
  • SOL in that wallet, enough for the CNS you want plus a little for network fees

Steps:

  1. Open the Raydium link. On a phone, open it inside your wallet app's browser.
  2. Connect your wallet.
  3. Check that you're swapping from SOL to CNS, and that the CNS address matches the one above.
  4. Enter the amount and review what you'll receive. The price is set by the market and can move while you trade.
  5. Confirm the swap, then approve it in your wallet.

Your CNS appears in your wallet once the transaction is confirmed. If it doesn't show, add it by its address (see I migrated but can't see my CNR; the steps are the same for CNS).

Buy on Ourbit

Ourbit is a separate company with its own accounts, rules and fees. Centric doesn't run it and can't help with Ourbit accounts.

  1. Open an account at ourbit.com and follow its sign-up and verification steps.
  2. Buy CNS on the CNS/USDT market.
  3. To hold CNS in your own wallet or convert it to CNR, withdraw it to your Solana wallet address on the Solana network.

Check Ourbit's own notices for whether deposits and withdrawals are open. Questions about an Ourbit account go to Ourbit's support.

Can I buy CNR directly?

No. Centric hasn't listed CNR on any exchange. The way to get CNR is to convert CNS at swap.centric.com or in the Centric Wallet. If you see CNR offered anywhere else, it isn't a Centric listing.

What about CNS on PancakeSwap?

The CNS on PancakeSwap is the old token on BNB Smart Chain. It's no longer supported, and the migration to Solana has closed. See The BSC to Solana migration.
