Migration

The BSC to Solana migration: dates, how it worked, and where it stands

Centric's migration from BNB Smart Chain to Solana ran from 2 March to 31 May 2026 and is now closed. Here's how it worked and what it means for your tokens.

The "7 days" people mention refers to the first-mover window, the first week of the migration. The migration itself ran for three months.

If you open migrate.centric.com, it may still say the migration is paused. It isn't paused. It has ended.

How it worked

Holders moved their CNR from BSC to Solana with the migration tool at migrate.centric.com:

  1. Connect a BSC wallet holding CNR, such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet.
  2. Enter a Solana wallet address to receive the tokens.
  3. Enter the amount of CNR to migrate.
  4. Approve the spend, then confirm the migration. These were two BSC transactions, paid for in BNB.

Each BSC CNR became one Solana CNR. The migrated BSC CNR was burned. The tool sent the Solana CNR to the address entered, usually within minutes.

I migrated. Is there anything else I need to do?

No. Your CNR is in the Solana wallet whose address you entered in the tool. You don't need to claim, register or convert anything.

I didn't migrate in time

CNR or CNS still in a BSC wallet stays on BSC. Centric no longer supports the BSC tokens, and there is no late migration route, either self-serve or through support.

What about the old Centric web wallet?

The old custodial Centric web wallet is a separate case. It closed on 28 July 2025, before the migration, and balances left in it after that date were burned. They can't be recovered.

Today's Centric Wallet at solana-wallet.centric.com is a different product: a self-custody app where you connect your own Solana wallet. See Which wallet to use for CNR and CNS.

Watch out for "migration" scams

Since the migration closed, no website, person or bot can migrate tokens for you, recover BSC tokens or "unlock" them for a fee. Anyone who offers to is a scammer. See How to spot scams and fake support.
