London, UK. May 24, 2021—Centric COO Thomas Butcher announced today a new strategic partnership with RastaFinance, an up-and-coming decentralized finance (DeFi) project. RastaFinance is an automated market maker (AMM) farm. It operates its own decentralized exchange (DEX), allowing peer-to-peer token swapping without a third-party intermediary.
Butcher explained that both parties have agreed to contribute $100,000 USD in their respective native tokens—Centric Cash (CNS), and Rasta token (RASTA)—providing a combined total of $200,000 in liquidity. Both entities have agreed to place their liquidity provider rewards back into the pool, for mutual benefit.
“We are impressed with RastaFinance’s steadfast commitment to building a positive community,” said Butcher. “They also share our beliefs in transparency, and steady, organic, and hype-free growth.”
The COO of RastaFinance describes himself as a “longtime Centric investor” from well before the conception of RastaFinance. The project’s CEO said in a statement, “I am blown away by this development. We [Centric and RastaFinance] are both building incredible, world-changing platforms. To think we are now both partnering together—I’m amazed, humbled, and grateful.”
In addition to the liquidity pools, RastaFinance’s development team will incorporate CNS into their yield farming. RastaFinance has ambitious future development plans, including the release of Zion LaunchPad, which will incorporate non-crypto projects into the RastaFinance decentralized ecosystem.
RastaFinance launched on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) in March of this year. Centric recently announced an upcoming migration from the TRON network to BSC. The inclusion of CNS within RastaFinance will follow Centric’s migration to BSC.
