About Centric

We believe financial freedom for the next generation can be stable, reliable, trusted and untethered from existing assets. It’s our vision to be the breakthrough digital currency, widely accepted globally.

Centric's Vision

Centric was conceived with the vision of one day replacing traditional fiat currencies. Blockchain technology will enable a more transparent world and we believe our innovative approach to achieving widespread adoption long term is what sets Centric apart from other cryptocurrencies today.

We believe the largest obstacle to the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies is price volatility. Cryptocurrencies, unlike fiat currencies, do not have a central bank to implement monetary policy focused on stabilizing purchasing power. Thus, changes in demand induce massive price fluctuations. The decentralized model to price discovery has made the majority of existing cryptocurrencies nothing more than stocks or commodities, valued on psychology, traded on unregulated stock markets, and susceptible to manipulation. The lack of price stability has prevented credit and debt markets from forming because volatility incurs a premium.

While the rest of the industry focuses on transaction throughput and smart contracts, we focus on solving price stability to realize the economic capabilities that the blockchain enables.

The Centric Foundation

The Centric Foundation was established to advance the adoption of Centric Rise (CNR), Centric Swap (CNS), along with establishing partners and solution Providers around the world.

The Foundation holds the highest standards of internal governance and transparency and is focused on a 7-10 year roadmap of new products, services, partnerships which will establish the financial framework required in order to achieve mass adoption around the world.

The Centric Foundation also plays a key role in setting macroeconomic policy to guide the growth of the Centric economy through the management of Centric Rise price, which is set 1 year in advance.

Centric is named after this centralized aspect. Cryptocurrencies, unlike fiat currencies, do not have a central entity to implement monetary policy focused on stabilizing purchasing power. Thus, changes in demand induce massive price fluctuations. By the Centric Foundation managing the Centric Rise price they are in-effect managing the CNR exchange rate which affords the Centric economy further firepower to react to price fluctuations and changes to aggregate demand.
